Acceptable Use and Uploaded Content Policy

Before your first upload, you must confirm the following statement, which is presented as a checkbox you actively accept:

“I confirm that I own this material or have permission to upload, store and share it through PlotBuilt. I will not upload listing photographs, documents or personal information obtained from another service unless I am authorized to use them.”

When you accept this statement, we record the timestamp of your acceptance and the version of the Terms of Use in effect at that time (currently 2026-08-02).

Regardless of ownership, you may not upload:

• Government identification documents
• Social Security numbers or other national identification numbers
• Payment-card data
• Passwords or other account credentials
• Private financial documents
• Confidential client documents you are not authorized to share
• Images of people where consent for their use is required but has not been obtained
• Malware or other malicious files
• Unlawful or infringing content

PlotBuilt accepts JPG, PNG and WebP image files. SVG files, HTML files and executable content are rejected on upload for security reasons.

Files you upload are private by default and are visible only within your account, unless you create a public share link for a specific board.

You can delete individual photos or documents from a project at any time. Deleting a project removes its associated uploads from active storage on our routine cleanup schedule. If you believe content on PlotBuilt violates this policy, including content that infringes your rights or was uploaded without authorization, please let us know through our contact form. We will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or suspending an account.
