Privacy Policy

We collect information you give us directly, including:

• Your name and email address
• Profile information
• Agent or brokerage information, if applicable
• Property addresses and property notes you enter
• Photographs and documents you upload
• Contacts you enter into a board
• Support communications you send us

When you use PlotBuilt, we automatically collect certain technical information:

• IP address
• Device and browser information
• Authentication and security logs
• Usage events, such as pages viewed and features used
• Cookies or local storage that are necessary for the service to function

We do not currently use analytics cookies or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy to describe the new use clearly as such.

PlotBuilt is built on Lovable Cloud, a hosting, database, authentication and storage platform built on Supabase. Lovable Cloud processes the data described above on our behalf to operate the service.

We also use Google Maps Platform for address search, geocoding, maps, satellite imagery and Street View. See the Google section below for details on how that data is handled.

No payment processor is connected to PlotBuilt today. Stripe is not in use, and no payment or billing information is collected at this time.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and secure your account
• Save and let you share your Vision Boards
• Process the photographs and documents you upload
• Provide customer support
• Prevent abuse and protect the security of the service
• Understand how the product is used so we can improve it
• Satisfy legal obligations

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers that help us operate PlotBuilt, such as Lovable Cloud and Google Maps Platform
• With people you choose to share a board with, through a public share link you create
• When required to comply with law, protect safety, or respond to legal process
• In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, if one occurs

PlotBuilt does not sell personal information.

Vision Boards are private by default and visible only to your account. If you create a public share link, anyone holding that link can view the specific board you shared — nothing else in your account. You can revoke a share link at any time, after which it no longer grants access.

We retain data associated with active accounts for as long as the account remains open. Archived projects are retained until you delete them or delete your account. When you delete a project, associated files are removed from active storage on a routine cleanup schedule. Backups and copies retained for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes may persist for a limited additional period. Deleting your account removes your data from active systems, subject to the retention needs described here.

You can, at any time:

• Access and review the information in your account
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete individual projects, photos or your entire account
• Revoke a share link
• Download or print your board information

We do not currently send marketing email. If we introduce marketing email in the future, we will provide a clear opt-out at that time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access to or deletion of the data we hold about you. We do not claim that every state privacy statute necessarily applies to PlotBuilt, but we honor privacy rights requests submitted through our contact method below.

PlotBuilt is not intended for children under 13, and accounts require the account holder to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

PlotBuilt is designed for U.S. properties. Regardless of where you access the service from, your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

PlotBuilt uses Google Maps Platform for address search, geocoding, maps, satellite imagery and Street View. Your use of these features is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Terms of Service. PlotBuilt stores only Google Place IDs and user-selected coordinates for a property — we do not store or bulk-download map tiles or satellite imagery.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
